This country is better off
If –
Presidents don’t plunder,
Senators, congressmen don’t have pork,
GOCC execs don’t have excessive perks,
Commissioners don’t ask for commissions,
Generals don’t get involved in politics,
The courts don’t have hoodlums in robes,
Civil servants don’t have hidden wealth,
Local officials don’t have dynasties.
But this country can only move forward
If people –
Fall in line and wait for their turn,
Vote wisely,
Segregate their solid wastes,
Obey traffic rules,
Pay exact taxes,
Avoid fixers,
Stop bribing public officials,
Stop finger-pointing.
