I HAVE TWO-LEFT FEET

Her body sways,
To the music rhythm,
Of the stereo,
Hips swinging,
Shoulders undulating,
Head rolling,
Long hair floating,
Breathe quickening,
Sweats forming,
Her perfume wafting,
In the air,
In the cozy room.

She loves to dance,
She needs a partner,
She faces me,
Hands on hips,
Eyes beckoning.

I’m glued to the couch,
I have two-left feet,
She smiles,
She understands,
Later in bed,
With two-left feet,
I can dance.
