FEARLESS

When you jumped into the pool

I’ve to catch you,

Knowing you can’t swim.

Was it trust in me

Or plain heedlessness?

You rode on the bicycle 

With the clueless housemaid; 

Got your feet entangled

With the wheel spooks.

Your foot required a plaster cast. 

You’re fearless,

Not easily intimidated

Even before a camera

When you can show off 

Wacky poses and antics.

You get wild and cry 

When mama is out of sight

But can wait the whole day

If told mama is in the office

Even if she’s somewhere else.
